Sculpture "la conquérante", an ode to feminine power
This statue can be made inother sizes on request: from 10 cm to 5 metres!
Or in other subjects: bronze, resin or terracotta. The appearance can therefore be customized : white polished stone effect, translucent or with colored resins.
Determined femininity
La Conquérante is a clay sculpture that expresses powerful femininity in all its inner strength.
Her body is solid, as if rooted in the earth that gave birth to her.
Nothing seems to be able to shake her. She moves forward confidently, determined, driven by a vital energy that runs through her form.
Through her, I sought to give substance to the invisible force that inhabits women: a force made up of courage, perseverance and light. She doesn’t just exist, she asserts her presence.
A symbol of freedom and dignity
Each variation explores the same idea: femininity as power, not fragility. This clay work pays homage to women who rise, who confront, who conquer – not to dominate, but to assert their freedom and dignity.
In this way, La Conquérante becomes a universal symbol: that of a deep-rooted, resilient and radiant femininity, capable of transforming itself while remaining profoundly true to itself.
The same work in different formats
La Conquérante comes in several sizes, but always with the same intensity.
Whether carved in small or large format, it retains its aura of solidity and radiance.
It has come a long way since it was created a few years ago: it has been transformed into resin, with white sculptures evoking polished stone, metal sculptures, and others as black as polished ebony.
It was also commissioned in a larger format, which led to a delightful adventure with the Stéphane Gérard workshops.
This order required 3D printing in the desired format, a new mold and the production of a piece in a precise 23cm format, which had been ordered for me to insert into a niche. The result is fantastic! The sculpture retains its harmony and power with elegance, in a material that resembles polished white stone.
We will soon be producing it in a large format, 1 metre high.
