La Victorieuse

A silhouette reaching for the sky, La Victorieuse rises with an energy of inner conquest.
This sculpture, which has been worked on for a long time, was born of a play of shapes – cubes, volumes, explored and recomposed lines – until this free, radiant figure emerged.
Its movement, both graceful and powerful, evokes a woman who frees herself, who dares to be vertical.

It’s a work of liberation.
A form that unfolds, opens up, stands up again.
In this ascent, we feel the passage from constraint to light, from withdrawal to self-assertion.
La Victorieuse is a celebration of feminine strength, of the quiet courage of those who stand up again.

Momentum, inner victory

The sculpture took shape over the course of a long process, in a blend of rigor and intuition.
From a series of geometric volumes, it evolved into a fluid, almost organic line.
In this metamorphosis, there was doubt, trial and error, then evidence: the form imposed itself, straight, vibrant, invincible.

Metallic patina plays an essential role here.
Its reflections of steel and bronze catch the light, underlining every curve, every hollow, every tension in the body.
The material seems to breathe, alive, traversed by an upward energy.
It’s as if the metal, usually cold, has come alive with warmth and movement.

The expression of the liberated feminine

La Victorieuse is a continuation of Catherine Chavigny’s work on the feminine: powerful, anchored, expanding.
She embodies the moment when vulnerability becomes strength, when inner gesture takes shape.
Nothing ostentatious here, but a luminous presence, a silent assurance.

This sculpture invites us to look up, to be inspired by this upward movement.
It speaks to those who are going through, who are rebuilding, who are regaining their momentum after the ordeal.
For the victory in question is not external – it is that of the being who, at last, stands up, true to himself.
